Community Choir Woolwich Singers celebrate 10 years with a stunning concert at the Tramshed theatre, Woolwich Woolwich Singers are set to celebrate ten years with a concert with a wonderful array of songs from their past and present, including an ensemble of performers from the choir, a solo by the pianist and singer and all-round uplifting singing by this much-loved addition to the Woolwich music scene. They are also collaborating with Reach Theatre - a theatre company for young adults, aged 18-25 with additional needs.

Woolwich Singers will perform live on the pitch of London's Olympic Park as part of a mass choir organised by CHANT Productions. This is an historic fixture as the Olympic Stadium will host a rugby league international for the first time. England v New Zealand rugby league international kick off 2.30pm.

Inspired by the diverse and active community groups in the Greenwich area the Woolwich Community Carnival Committee are bringing back carnival to Woolwich this summer on Saturday 19th September. Woolwich Carnival will be a celebration of local culture and community. There will be a parade, costumes, live music, dance, community stalls, food and crafts, steel drums and plenty of good vibes – a great way to bring neighbouring communities together for a day of collective summer festivities. This year’s theme is Feeling Good – all things that make us happy.

Get Involved!

The carnival is being organised, led and run by local community members and we are asking community groups to get involved. Each community group will contribute in its own way to the carnival; this may be as part of the procession, running a community stall or performing. In the run up to the event we will be organising carnival workshops for community groups; these will include costume making, structure building, drum and dance workshops and more. Woolwich Singers is thrilled to be taking part in CHORUS 2015 at London's Southbank Centre! Southbank Centre’s annual Chorus festival celebrates and explores the power of singing together. 2015’s festival brings thousands of singers together across the Easter weekend and beyond to perform, learn, enjoy and be inspired. FREE EVENT!

Jingle and sing your way to Christmas with Woolwich Singers at this free community event and concert.

• Richard Blackwood will turn on the Christmas lights at Royal Arsenal Riverside alongside performances from  X-Factor contestant Naomi Headman, Irish folk singer Chloe Jac and Canadian-born classical singer Angela Molineux.
• The event will also feature a ballet performance from the Academy of Performing Arts and TMA Award winning actress Nicole Faraday will be there to promote this year’s Broadway Theatre pantomime production, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in which she stars as the ‘Wicked Queen’ alongside Richard Blackwood as ‘Muddles’.
• Christmas magic will be brought to life with real reindeers and sleigh as well as a pop-up Santa’s Grotto allowing little ones to put in their wish list.
• The Christmas market will showcase local businesses including traditional real ales from onsite brewery.

Woolwich Singers open the 2014 Autumn Series of the Brandenburg Festival with a wonderful free event as they sing on the steps in front of the iconic portico of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square - come along and join in!

At the suffragette evening in partnership with Greenwich University,Woolwich Singers will be part of living history singing 'She works at the Woolwich Arsenal Now’. A music hall favourite in the First World War, it will be performed live along with a number of other popular and well loved songs.

Come and join in the fun and enjoy a suffragette cocktail at the cocktail bar!

Woolwich Singers will be performing some songs from Grease and other popular numbers at 3.40pm at the Woolwich Dockyard Talent Showcase. Come and join us at 3.40pm. Everyone welcome.

Woolwich Singers will be serenading Greenwich Carers during their lunch at the town hall. Local carers meet for this annual gathering as part of the nationwide Carers' Week

On the milestone of our first anniversary, Woolwich Singers will be celebrating in song, music and dance.... and joined by the University of Greenwich Swing Band.
